Inside The 2026 NFLPA Rookie Premiere

Every May, Los Angeles becomes the backdrop for one of the most talked about weekends in professional football. The NFLPA Rookie Premiere has been doing this since 1994 — bringing together 40 of the most marketable incoming NFL rookies for a three day event that serves as their first real introduction to the business side of the game.
Everyone knows about it. What it actually feels like to be there is a different story. This year Blitzfits was inside.
Behind The Lens
We handed two rookies a disposable camera and told them to document the weekend their way. No direction. Just their POV.
First up wasCaleb Downs — safety, Dallas Cowboys, 11th overall pick out of Ohio State. What we didn't know going in was that Caleb loves to shoot. He took that camera seriously and gave us some of the most exclusive behind the scenes moments from the biggest day of the weekend — field day — captured in his new Cowboys threads. The camera was in good hands from the jump.
Then there was Ja'Kobi Lane — wide receiver, Baltimore Ravens, 80th overall pick out of USC. If you follow Ja'Kobi on Instagram or TikTok you already know he moves differently. Caption-less photo dumps, effortless vibes, and a personality that translates on film. He gave us exactly that — fun, candid, and very Ja'Kobi.

Zachariah Branch: Inside The Jersey Reveal
For Zachariah Branch — wide receiver, drafted by the Atlanta Falcons — the jersey reveal was personal.
We followed Zach through one of the most anticipated moments of the entire event, the moment every rookie waits for — seeing their NFL jersey for the first time. He shared it with his friends, his family, and his brother Zion Branch, currently playing at the University of Georgia and watching his brother's moment from the other side of the journey.
No big speech. No overthinking it. When we asked Zach what people should expect from him this season he kept it simple — tune in.
That's enough.
The Red Carpet
Friday night also brought out some of the best fits of the entire weekend.
Before the jersey reveal rookies pulled up to the red carpet and did not disappoint — dressed up, styled out, and ready for their moment. From luxury pieces to custom looks, the fits said everything about who these guys are beyond the helmet.
