Off The Clock With Jeremiyah Love
By Blitzfits | April 2026
New York has a way of making moments feel much bigger. Before Pittsburgh. Before the calls. Before his name gets called — we take you back to December, when we caught Jeremiyah Love in New York for a different kind of big weekend. Same energy. Different moment. At one point, he stepped into the middle of Times Square and stopped. No phone. No rush. Just watching the movement, the screens, the people flowing around him. A quiet pause inside one of the loudest places in the world."This is crazy," he said, almost to himself. This week in Pittsburgh, that feeling comes back around.
New York. Two Big Weekends.
Being a Heisman finalist is something most players only experience from a distance. Jeremiyah understands the weight of the moment — he just doesn't let it take over.
New York felt symbolic then. Pittsburgh feels symbolic now. Back in December his face was up on a billboard somewhere in the city. His name was being mentioned in rooms he wasn't in. This week that's happening on a whole different level.
He feels honored. Proud. Grateful. And if he had more time in New York, he says he'd catch a Broadway show, walk around, people-watch. Really experience it. Shopping was already part of the plan anyway.
Keeping It Simple
Off the field, Jeremiyah's style mirrors how he lives.
Relaxed. Clean. Comfortable. Jumpsuits, joggers, easy layers. Nothing loud. Nothing forced. At the center of it all — a white tee. It works with everything and keeps things simple. The base of his wardrobe and in a lot of ways his mindset too.
Accessories stay minimal. The chain stays home most days — it's too nice for regular movement. A wrist piece here and there. Just enough to feel put together without feeling weighed down.
The same guy showing up in Pittsburgh this week is the same guy we met in New York.
Why New Balance Felt Right
Jeremiyah paid attention to how intentional New Balance was about who they partnered with. They weren't signing everyone. They were selective. That mattered.
He talks about the brand as something he's building with, not just representing. They're starting something new in football and he's entering a new phase of his career. The timing felt aligned in December. It feels even more aligned now.
A Stop on Fifth Avenue
Later, we head to the New Balance store on Fifth Avenue. What could've been a quick stop turns into something more personal. His family pulls up — mom, dad, granddad, sister, even old coaches. It doesn't feel staged. It feels natural.
There's laughter. Trying things on. Honest opinions. The staff surprises him with a custom pullover featuring his name. A small detail, but one that lands.
By the time everyone heads out, bags in hand, it feels like a win. Another reminder that no matter how big the moment gets, the circle stays the same. That circle will be in Pittsburgh too.
Life Outside The Game
When things slow down, Jeremiyah keeps it simple. TV. Video games. Time with his girlfriend and family.
One habit stands out — the piano. It slows the noise down and brings focus back when everything around him is moving fast. Useful timing heading into the biggest week of his life.
YoungBoy, Rod Wave, and G Herbo stay in rotation too. Music that helped him through hard moments people don't always see. Not about hype — about connection.
Pittsburgh Is Next
When the conversation turned to what's next back in December, Jeremiyah didn't pretend to have it all figured out.
Now that next has a city. It's Pittsburgh.
He doesn't know what jersey he'll be wearing by the end of the week. What he does know is what he can control. Locked in. Body right. Mind right. Ready to show who he is at the next level whenever that call comes.
No panic. Just preparation. The draft doesn't define him. It just opens the next door.
More Than A Player
Before we wrapped, Jeremiyah talked about how he hopes people remember him.
Not just as a football player. But as a person. Someone with good energy. Easy to talk to. Someone who made people feel comfortable just being around him.
As Pittsburgh approaches, the tone stays the same. Calm. Present. Grounded.
At the end of it all, he laughs and keeps it simple:
He's really just a chill guy.
